How to connect airBalticcard Mobile to a mobile communications network
Carefully withdraw
airBalticcard Mobile
from its plastic case and place the SIM card into your mobile phone as shown in the phone’s manual.
Switch the phone on.
A message on the screen will prompt you to enter
PIN1
code (you will find it on the reverse of the SIM card).
Save the PIN and PUK codes! You will need them for future
airBalticcard Mobile
operations.
airBalticcard Mobile
logo will appear on the screen.
Adding credits
Take the renewal card.
Carefully remove the scratch off label on the card.
From the phone menu enter the
airBalticcard Mobile
section.
Choose the
Add Credit
function.
The message «
Please Enter PIN
» will appear on the screen.
Enter the 16-digit PIN code and press
OK
.
A message with the information about the added credits will then appear on the screen.
Outgoing calls
Enter the number you wish to call. Please make sure you add the symbol
«+»
or
«00»
before the country code and the local number.
For example, if you call a number in France, please first enter +33 (country code) and then the local phone number.
Press the
«Call»
button.
The message «Wait for Call» will appear on the screen.
After a few of seconds you will receive an incoming call from the system which will then connect you to the requested phone number.
The system will generate a message regarding the available time balance.
Press the
«Answer»
button.
Wait for the connection and talk.
You can call any phone number that is stored in your mobile’s memory. Just make sure you save the numbers with their corresponding country codes (for example, +33 for France).

If the mobile phone does not support service in automatic mode, then calls can be made in the following order: *146*00ccNUMBER#, then press “call” (where cc- country code)
Credit balance
You can make and receive calls as long as your SIM card has credit.You can check your credit balance in two ways.
Choose the airBalticcard Mobile section in your phone menu.
Choose the Check Balance function.
A message with your credit balance will appear on your screen.
Credit balance can be checked by sending a request. Enter number 099.
Press the «Call» button.
A message with your credit balance will appear on your screen.
How to send and receive SMS
Simply send and receive SMS in accordance with your phone’s manual.
Technical requirements
airBalticcard Mobile can be used with any GSM mobile phone, except phones that are designed to be used only on specific networks. Some very old phone models do not support the service in airBalticcard Mobile automatic mode. In this case you can make calls, send and receive SMS as well as check your credit balance using the airBalticcard menu that is displayed automatically in the phone menu when using an airBalticcard Mobile.
Before unpacking airBalticcard Mobile please read the instructions for use that are available at the point of sale. By opening the packaging you confirm that you have read and accept the instructions for use and tariffs of airBalticcard Mobile.
